Ukraine attacks Russian air base

On December 26 a Ukrainian drone attacked the Engels Air Base. The worrying thing for Russia is that this is 600 km from the Ukrainian border. Moscow announced that its troops had downed the drone and that although the debris killed three technicians, no Russian aircraft were hit. This is the second attack on that air base this month. The regional governor reassured local residents that they were safe. He denied that people were being evacuated from nearby Saratov. As usual, Ukraine has said nothing about the attack.
