Ukraine blowing up facilities in Russia

On May 2 there were two large explosions in the Belgorod Region adjacent to Ukraine. Flashes in the sky preceded the explosions, suggesting it was missile strikes. The governor of the region announced the explosions. He claimed there were no injuries or damage. Why did he even announce the explosions if they are so inconsequential?On May 1 there was a fire at a military facility in Belgorod. A railway bridge collapsed near Kursk. Russia said the bridge collapsing is not due to sabotage.Moscow says that Ukraine has carried out cross border raids. Kyiv neither confirms nor denies this. The Ukrainians have unofficially said that they are targeting transport networks and supply depots.
