Zelenskiy leaves Premier Honcharuk in place

President Zelenskiy decided to leave Oleksiy Honcharuk in the Prime-Minister's chair for now according to the President Office. Honcharuk submitted a resignation request today following the scandal with the records of his talks. Journalists juggled a variety of versions of who might have recorded this talk and provoked the tension. The story is very unpleasant for Zelenskiy because everyone will play with the derogatory words of Honcharuk from now. But the president apparently decided to let the Cabinet finish a set of toxic tasks before changing them. It's very unlikely Honcharuk will be a long-lived survivor. But Zelenskiy will need time to find a good fit to replace him.
